This day’s project is one of the many locations taking place to celebrate the 15th annual Riverkeeper Sweep.\nEach year, thousands of volunteers take part in 100+ shoreline service projects along the Hudson River from Manhattan to North Creek. By volunteering, we make a strong statement that we care about the health of our local waterways. We all benefit from living near such abundant resources — we must do our part to protect them.\nThe sweep will end with a celebratory toast for all participants. All 21+ volunteers receive a token for a free beer!\n\n\n\n
