What beers does Common Roots Brewing Company offer?
We are proud to offer a full variety of craft beer styles. Additionally, we produce our own cider, hard- and soft-seltzers, and canned cocktails.
Do you have seasonal or limited releases?
We are constantly releasing new beers, ciders and canned cocktails. Additionally, our Wild Beer programming produces unique and limited offerings throughout the year.
Do you have non-beer or non-alcoholic options?
Both of our taprooms offer N/A beer, N/A craft seltzers, and a variety of non-beer options such as craft cider and canned cocktails.
Can I buy beer to go?
Both of our taproom locations and our café offer a full variety of beer, cider, seltzer and canned cocktails to go.
What makes your two locations different?
Our Flagship Taproom in South Glens Falls is our primary production hub and our original location, featuring abundant outdoor seating and proximity to the Adirondack Mountains. Housed in a beautiful historical site, our Albany Outpost is located in the heart of the Capitol city, making it the perfect destination before catching a show or exploring Albany’s vibrant downtown. Both locations offer scratch kitchen fare, a full selection of Common Roots beverages, and a welcoming family-friendly atmosphere.
Flagship Taproom FAQs
Where is the Taproom located?
Our Flagship Taproom is located at 58 Saratoga Avenue in South Glens Falls, NY.
Is parking available?
Abundant free parking is available in the Park-and-Ride lot at the end of Marion Avenue.
Do you offer food at your brewery?
We are proud to offer scratch kitchen fare featuring local producers. Favorites include our Fried Chicken Sandwich, Not-so-Common Smash Burger, and inspired seasonal salads and pizzas.
Do you have options for dietary restrictions?
Please be sure to let your beertender know about any food allergies or gluten concerns during your visit. Many of the items on our menu can be modified to accommodate gluten-friendly, vegetarian or vegan diets.
Do you take reservations?
We do not take reservations. Walk-in groups of all sizes are always welcome.
Is there a wait time on weekends?
As we do not take reservations, there may be a wait time during periods of high volume. Our staff will seat you as quickly as possible and ensure you have a delicious beverage to enjoy while you wait.
Do you have outdoor seating?
Our Flagship Taproom has both covered and uncovered outdoor seating in our spacious Biergarten.
Is your brewery dog friendly?
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are always welcome in the Biergarten. Guests can enjoy the full food and drink menu in our outdoor seating area with their four-legged friends. Dogs are not allowed inside the building.
Do you have a kid’s menu?
Kid menus, activity sheets and crayons are available upon request.
Do you host live music or events at the brewery?
While we typically do not host live music, there’s always something going on at Common Roots, such as Trivia Nights, Fundraisers, and Dart Leagues. Check out our calendar to see what’s coming up.
Do you have brewery tours?
Our Flagship location is our main production facility, and hosts weekly tours on Friday afternoons. Advance booking is required.
Can I book a private event at the brewery?
Our Flagship taproom and our state-of-art Bierhall and Barrel House Event Center can accommodate everything from small gatherings to corporate trainings to wedding celebrations.
What goes on across the street in the Bierhall?
The Bierhall is our state-of-the-art event space in South Glens Falls, NY. It’s also home to the Common Roots Café every morning.
